"I am an eclectic soul; a collaboration of my past and present. A prophetic voice to my future"
Gaynelle Rhem, known as Spilletry TheMouthpiece in the world of the creative and lyrical arts, has been writing since the age of 11. It was her way to cope with the beautifully strange , scary and misunderstandings life brings to the adolescent mind. In writing to help her find understanding, she found her voice and her calling. Her love for music, writing and the creative arts transformed her into who she is today.
She gladly embraces every opportunity given to share hope, love and encouragement with her audience in the creative artsy musical flow that she is known for.
About

I am so grateful and thankful that you have taken the time to allow me to share a part of myself with you. My name is Gaynelle Rhem, the CEO and owner of Spilletry TheMouthpiece LLC. I was born in Bronx, New York in 1975. I had the opportunity to travel as my parents were military, serving in the United States Air Force. Growing up in the military afforded me opportunities to expand my mind and my creativity. To see the world from a perspective other than my own. I enjoyed growing up in a diverse culture that taught me to see and love people with my heart and exposed me to expressing that love through the arts. By loving, embracing and celebrating who I am, I in turn love, embrace and celebrate the diversity of the cultures around me.
I pay respect to that upbringing assisting in making me who I am today. Loving my neighbor as I love myself, my passion for the creative and performing arts and my background in psychology and social work. The mixture of these three have placed me on an amazing journey.
At the age of 19, I began working as a youth counselor/assistant for many years. That experience blessed me with the opportunity to have the position of assistant youth pastor and then co-youth pastor. My love for community landed me a position as a mental/behavioral health tech allowing me to work with foster care children and their families, the homeless, teens and adults dealing with substance and alcohol addiction, and assisted living facilities. I graduated from UWF in 2018 with a BA in Psychology, minoring in social work and was hired on as the Children’s Care Coordinator for Lakeview Center Incorporated Acute Stabilization Unit. This was a brand new position created to better assist children and their families seeking assistance with mental/behavioral health emergency services. I developed and facilitated the children’s acute emergency care program. My current position is Director of Case Management for Oasis Florida, overseeing the case management department, providing clients with medical care and resources needed to ensure their best quality of life while living with HIV. I am working on the completion of my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I have written poetry since the age of 11 and I am blessed to have 18 plus years experience as a spoken word artist on my resume. This gift has opened doors for me locally and nationally since 2005; affording me the opportunity to speak and perform on various stages. My love of music and the arts has taken me across international waters, via radio, with my show Sunday Drive that airs every Sunday at 5pm CST on RWRlive365.com. A collection of my work is currently on Bandcamp.com. This is my debut project released, September 2021, entitled MyPurpose MyCall MyLife: The Prelude to Journey Back to Me. The inspiration behind this project is to bring awareness, encouragement and solutions to those who have struggled overcoming the many challenges of life.
To say the least, what I do is a huge part of who I am and I enjoy it thoroughly. I look forward to starting and continuing a lasting relationship with you!
